Hi Doug,

This series of posts on the power of FREE is top notch information.

The good thing about it is, you can create your own free report based around the affiliate product you are promoting, and help build the all important LIST.

The Clickbank Pirate site sounds like an excellent example of that. Unless it’s set up so that they build their list? I’ve not really looked into the site that much, so not sure?

Also thanks for visiting my blog earlier, and leaving me those great comments.

As they say it’s better to give than to receive. You see this type of marketing offline quite often. I was in the liquor store to buy some wine and as I went in the door I was offered a sample of a local wine. I tried it, liked it but did not buy it. The next trip out I remebered the freebie and bought a bottle.

Doug, your three posts on the power of free have been excellent. Thanks for all of them. Out of this one Mike Steup’s Niche Audio Club and Clickbank Pirate are great examples of using free to move toward paid. Another area in which I have been using the power of free is with ad swaps to build my list.

You have provided some great examples of the power of free, Doug.

I have to agree that you almost always need a free product on the front end of any product or service that you want to promote now days.

There are so many free quality products that it seems difficult to compete with a paid product anymore.

That being said, I have been using this model for quite some time, unfortunately I was going about it all wrong. Within the last couple of months I have put out a new product using this model, but have put more thought and planning into this one and it has been paying off big time.

This is a great model to use and can be much more lucrative than most people just starting out in Internet Marketing can imagine.

I also think that “free” is now expected if you are providing a product and / or service. In fact people beginning to demand to have more for free.
